Woman 'caught with drugs in school zone'

A WOMAN has allegedly been caught with drugs within a school zone at Woodcroft.

Police arrested the woman then searched a house on Friday, March 15, and allegedly found cash and a large amount of methamphetamine.

The 30-year-old woman was charged with possession of a controlled drug in a school zone and unlawful possession of the cash.

A school zone is classified as within about 200m of a school.

A 30-year-old man with alleged links to the drugs was located by police at Victor Harbor. He was arrested and charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of a controlled drug and unlawful possession of cash.

The couple was bailed to appear at the Christies Beach Magistrates Court next month.
