THE state's road toll has risen to 23 after an elderly man died from injuries sustained in a crash last week at Rostrevor.
At 8.45am on Saturday, March 9, the 90-year-old driver was travelling on Savas Road at Rostrevor when he veered on to the wrong side of the road and crashed into a Stobie pole.
He died in hospital yesterday..
The road toll was 20 the same time last year.
