SUBSCRIBERS of The Advertiser are advised to be mindful of scammers who are contacting customers and inviting them to participate in a survey offering a chance to win $500.
At least two subscribers have been contacted by scammers, purporting to be from News Limited, making unsolicited calls and stating that because they had cancelled their subscription, they were eligible to complete a survey and win $500.
News Limited has not made the calls, nor has it provided customer data to external parties.
