POLICE have detected a truckie driving under the influence and in possession of drugs at Wingfield.
The truck was stopped on Cormack Rd about 7.30pm yesterday and searched, uncovering about 10g of white powder believed to be amphetamine, police said.
The driver, a 46-year-old man of Kulnurra, in New South Wales, also tested positive to drug driving.
Further offences were detected with his work diary and the truck was also defected.
The man is expected to face Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today on a charge of possessing a controlled substance for sale.
