Road watch: Hassles as trucks break down

BROKEN-down trucks have been causing delays on Adelaide roads this morning, as the usual traffic hotspots get busy.

Traffic is building near the intersection of South and Daws roads, and the city exits of the Southern Expressway.

Nick Green from Australian Traffic Network says a truck breakdown on the South Eastern Freeway uptrack has cut the speed limit to 40km/h. Another broken down truck on North East Rd is causing delays at Collinswood.

The Southern Expressway closes from 9.30am until 2pm for duplication works but will be open all weekend for Easter.
