Two men airlifted to hospital after Barossa crash

TWO men have been airlifted to hospital following separate crashes in the Barossa Valley this afternoon.

One man was taken to Adelaide by helicopter with critical injuries after a two car smash at Cockatoo Valley just after 12.30pm.

A second person suffered minor injuries in the crash on Balmoral Rd and has been taken to hospital by road.

A man in his 20's was airlifted from the scene of a crash on Barossa Valley Way at Lyndoch after his car collided with a tree about 12.45pm

Police have asked motorists to avoid these areas if possible, as delays are expected.

Drivers should also be aware of slippery and greasy road conditions due to rain.
