Heroin, shotgun shells found in car search

TWO men and a woman have been arrested for alleged drug and firearm offences after a car search in Gepps Cross.

Holden Hill Police and Dog Squad officers stopped the vehicle at Gepps Cross on March 12 about 3.20am.

Police allegedly found 30g of amphetamine and heroin, drug dealing equipment, knives and shotgun shells in the car.

Police then searched a premises at Pooraka where they allegedly found a further 220g of amphetamine and a sawn-off shotgun.

A 28-year-old Pooraka woman, a 22-year-old Para Vista man and 21-year-old Angle Vale man have been arrested and charged with trafficking drugs and firearm offences.

The trio will appear in the Holden Hill Magistrates Court on March 24 and May 2.
