AN extra 12 buses have started running today on the Noarlunga rail line substitute service.
The new Noarlunga morning peak services are operating as follows:
- N6 departs Hallett Cove Beach Station at 6am, arriving stop Z3 King William St, City at 6.51am
- N6 departs Hallett Cove Beach Station at 6.20am, arriving stop Z3 King William St, City at 7.11am
- N3X departs Oaklands Station at 7.05am, arriving stop Z3 King William St, City at 7.35am.
Other changes to the substitute service from today include the extension of the afternoon N3X services departing from the city to Brighton from the previous terminus at Oaklands.
Transport Services Minister Chloe Fox said: "We have listened to the community and have made these changes to minimise the disruption during the work to electrify the Noarlunga line."
The changes will allow an extra six buses in the morning and an extra six in the afternoon.
The rail line is expected to re-open in September.
The changes to the Noarlunga services follow the introduction last month of an extra morning peak service to the city on the Belair substitute bus service, leaving Eden Hill Station at 7.51am, arriving at stop Z3 King William St, City at 8.52am.
