THE man who allegedly bashed nightclub patron Jason Lindsley has been refused bail in the Adelaide Magistrates Court.
Ali Joubouri, 21, allegedly punched Mr Lindsley in August last year at Zhivago nightclub.
Mr Lindsey sustained serious head injuries and was in an induced coma for two weeks.
Joubouri is charged with one count of causing serious harm to another.
Today Joubouri had his application for home detention bail refused by Magistrate Simon Smart.
Magistrate Smart said he considered the risk of Joubouri reoffending and the serious nature of the offence.
Outside of court Jason's father, Doug Lindsley, said Jason was doing well with his rehabilitation and he was proud of him.
