IT'S been a much loved house by Port Adelaide players and the site of many a party, but now team captain Travis Boak's Woodville West home is about to hit the market.
Boak bought the 2007-built James St townhouse in 2009 and said he was attracted by the quiet street, close proximity to the club . . . and a double shower.
"It seemed perfect for me and the main bedroom with the double shower in the ensuite just sold it for me," Boak says.
He has renovated the backyard and transformed it into what he said was the perfect place to laze away the summer days. "I've got the deck and a pergola, put some fake lawn down and have a TV outside and a dining table and a barbecue set up, so it's really good for entertaining and something I use a fair bit," he says.

Boak says the home has been popular with his team-mates and a couple of them have even lived there.
"We've had plenty of parties there with the footy boys, probably too many," he says.
"They always seem to be at my house and no one else's.
"I've had (Port player) Robbie Gray living there for the past three years and he's just moved out and I've had Cam O'Shea there for the past year and they love it as well.
"The guys always come around from the club as well just to sit out the back and watch TV and, especially in summer, we used to put sun lounges out on the deck and lie on them and it was perfect."
The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and three toilets and Boak says the home would be perfect for a family or, with its proximity to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, a doctor or nurse.
Boak is planning a seachange and is looking to buy in the Glenelg area.
"Growing up in Torquay, I lived 100m from the beach so I thought it would be the perfect time to move closer to the beach," he said.
Toop & Toop Real Estate agent Troy Tyndall says the $500,000 to $520,000 asking price made the property affordable for many.
