A WOMAN fended off a predator in a horrifying attack at her Andrews Farm home yesterday.
The woman disturbed a man in the rear yard of her home as she went to hang out her washing at 1.15pm.
He man chased her into the house and assaulted her.
Detectives say his intention may have been to sexually assault the woman.
The woman fought off the offender and he ran from the house.
Police believe the man may have been in the area attempting break into homes.
The man is described as Caucasian, around 30-years-old, 165cms tall, medium build, clean shaven with short dark hair. He was wearing long pants and a short sleeved dark top.
He was also wearing black gloves which were of a soft leather texture with fabric on the palm side. The man had a dark mark on his wrist but the victim cannot say if this was a tattoo or other mark.
