TWO people have died in a single car rollover on the Flinders Highway at Colton on the Eyre Peninsula - the third fatality on SA's roads in 24 hours.

Emergency services were called to the accident shortly after 10.30am this morning.

This is the third fatality in 24 hours, bringing the state's road toll to 22 compared to 19 this time last year.

No further details were available.

Just before 4am this morning, a driver died after his car crashed into a tree and burst into flames on Belair Rd at Torrens Park.

The deceased driver and sole occupant of the car, is yet to be identified.

Major Crash investigators are at the scene.

Belair Rd is closed to traffic in both directions between Rowallen and Barrelder roads. Bus companies have been advised.

Traffic restrictions are expected to remain in place for most of the morning, so avoid the area if possible.
